I wouldn't be surprised to find, in 50 years from now, that it was an experiment done on people - with so many 'nudge' behavioural scientists it is plausible. Behind the uplifting 'motivational' and 'team work' facade is micromanagement, cruelty, bullying, exploitation and abuse. 'Let us bully you so you can learn to bully others' type of environment, target driven, sanction based, carrot and stick culture. It has a propaganda, communist vibe to it. It is surprising how many people fall for it, and do not see the pattern here - mostly bad reviews, all reporting similar trends.
