You should want to go somewhere brutally intense. You should want to go somewhere where things move so fast it can be hard to keep up. You should want to go somewhere where people are working 9/9/5 + weekends. Otherwise, there is no chance the team will win. If this is not you, that's ok too. There are tons of lifestyle jobs out there that are a better fit.

But i'd also add that this is extremely team dependent and a middle management issue. Not an executive management issue. Just do your due diligence before joining.

The people are what make it. Everyone around me actually cares not in a corporate "we're a family" way, but in a "we're building something incredible and I can't believe we're actually doing this" way. The company is growing extremely fast that you're constantly getting exposure to things you wouldn't touch at a bigger company. I've taken on challenges here that would've taken years to get to at my previous jobs. If you're the kind of person who gets fired up by hard problems, you'll love it here. If you want to catapult your skills and career to the next level FAST, this is the place for you.
