You'll get an opportunity to work in a high-volume digital publishing atmosphere and develop your skills doing everything from pitching to editing images, keyword research, and post formatting for a variety of story types. You'll also get a great survey of the 'men's gear space' (to the extent that is a thing) both from a brand and media side.
Minpunten
High volume and tight turnarounds make it difficult to take creative risks. Mgmt has a 'if it doesn't make money it doesn't make sense' approach, which is defensible and even admirable, but it doesn't lend itself to substantive creative growth. There is a ceiling on the type of work done there in terms of creative ambition. In the same vein, the high volume of content can lead to burnout if you're not careful. Comp was meh at best when I was there.
