Pluspunten
If you are a career waiter, this is the place you want to be. Consistent schedule, methodical steps of service, and decently high menu prices mean solid tips. Most managers are good. (Shout out to GM Sean) My highest compliment is the establishment doesn't tolerate any customer abuse of the employees--management will not hesitate to remove a problematic guest.
Minpunten
If you are waiting tables as a support job for some other passion, this gig might take over your life, even if you are part time. Not flexible with request offs, and the most consistently demanding shifts that I've experienced in the industry. Coworkers are constantly begging to have their shifts covered. When corporate comes in, the managers get very stressed. While my interaction with corporate was limited, it was clear there was a culture of fear. Some store-level managers take that out on the staff, instead of looking out for their staff. Family meal is not always offered, which is insulting.
