I genuinely mean this, there are no positives. Your life will become a living hell if you take employment here.
Minpunten
- Every department within the business are working against each other and that includes management. - The IT department is HEAVILY understaffed, infrastructure have 3 employees and have a backlog as long as the great wall of China. The software teams, again, are understaffed but not as much. - The company VPN or account domain server that is required to do your job in any given department constantly goes down or has issues. - The access to do your job is severely limited, - Company culture expects you to plan for a given sprint of work but then drop everything at the drop of a hat. Priorities aren't a real thing here, everything is top priority. - Working unpaid in your own time is almost expected and is frowned upon if you take issue with it. - Without going into detail, they are forcing legally questionable contract changes with absurd obligations for a laughable amount of remuneration. - The company has some insane IT practices that I could spend days talking about. If you're reading this because you have a job opportunity, delete the email, burn the contract, and never look back!
