Work with some very dedicated scientists from around the world contributing to end food insecurity in some of the worlds harshest climates. Partner institutions are very eager to work with ICARDA scientists and will help you develop the local contacts needed to accomplish your research goals.

Work style is a bit old fashioned. The institute seems to be reluctant to use tools of a global workplace, which sets the tone of stifled innovation. Also, due to pulling out of Aleppo ICARDA is rebuilding. There is very little laboratory infrastructure making scientists dependent on secondary data. Many scientists find it difficult to publish in high impact journals.
