Thank you for your review of the agency. I am so sorry to hear that this was your experience. It’s hard to believe that someone could be this unhappy under our roof, yet never brought it to my attention. I am glad to hear that the people who made you so upset are no longer here. We pride ourselves on being a caring, supportive environment and helping people grow. We do not tolerate abusive personalities. Like all others in the industry, we terminate for cause/poor performance – there is no such thing as “getting fired for no reason.” Employees are also given ample opportunities to receive constructive feedback, which is provided both in writing and through regular check-ins/reviews in hopes that they will be able to course correct and perform to their team’s expectations. As for hours, in the PR industry you do sometimes have to work long hours to meet client and media needs (for example: leading up to a big press event or an important, time sensitive launch), but comp time is always given in those instances and we have generous PTO policies and Summer Fridays too. We are not clock watchers and we pay overtime to eligible employees. People just need to get their work done. As for saying we are trash and we are a joke, that is just unkind and unprofessional. I do hope that Glass Door will consider removing your post because if you actually worked at INK & ROSES you signed Clause 8 of our employment agreement, which is a non-disparagement clause. Your review is both disparaging and untrue!
