Pluspunten
Don't have to clock out for lunch. Get to watch capitalism die from inside one of its rotting factories.
Minpunten
12 hour days, 7 day weeks. Have a medical appointment of state but still gave 6 weeks notice? That's 3 points on your record. Forget to clock in as you came through the doors. That's another point. You get 20 points, by the way. Then you're fired. Exhausted from working 72 hours per week? Don't take a nap in your car during break. That's a mandatory drug test. Pass your drug test and expect that will be the last you deal with that issue? Guess again. What do unhappy employees do? Gossip. Think you'll learn a living wage working 72 hours per week. Just barely, but management promises we're almost back on track with our customers and so we'll be back to 40 hours per week. You'll finally have time for your life again but if you think the corporation will pass their profit onto you the worker, keep dreaming. You will not make enough for rent, utilities, car payment, health insurance, groceries, raising children or paying for home health for elderly parents. You'll wish you were back at 72 hours per week or you'll take another job. Instead of a living wage the corporation will host a party and give away door prizes once every few months. Maybe a Walmart card, maybe a leftover TV, one from the 20 they just refurbished the floor offices with. Every employee should take a stand. They'll fire you. Then the next group will see how expendable they are. You will never get even a fraction of a fraction of what the ceo of Inoac earns. Not until something changes. He makes about 200 times what a typical inoac worker makes. Is he worth 200 of you? I don't think so either. As long as the ultra rich control the means of production you will continue to do whatever he asks of you just to have the scraps that aren't worth his time to pick up. What if you and every other worker at Inoac controlled the means of production? Now you and the co-owners can split the hundreds of millions of profits between you instead of begging for scraps from the shot callers at the top. This is late stage capitalism. It is dying. It is not working for anyone except those at the very top. They will never pay you what you're worth because that will cut into their profits. The moment a robot can do your job you'll be replaced to save more. The moment humans aren't needed to run the factory at all you'll be in line asking for enough bread not to die and probably still voting for the people who told you that capitalism is the only way. Making the rich even richer means they'll pass that wealth on to you, somehow. Trust them.
