1. Great work atmosphere - Staff are friendly and most of the time they try to help one another. This is especially good for newcomers where entering a new work environment can be a bit of a scare. 2. Competitive salary - Hard work does not go unnoticed. If you work hard, you will be rewarded. If you excel at your job role, you may find yourself being offered a new role with a decent salary increase. Great to see as not every company acknowledges the hard work of its employees. 3. Managers are understanding - This is one of the most important factors (in my opinion). If you're unsure about something, you can always ask them for advice. They encourage you to learn from your experiences so that you can apply this in your day to day. If you have a personal issue, they welcome you to speak to them to see what the best solution would be. 4. Staff growth - depending on your position and how long you've been working there, the company tends to help upskill their staff by allowing them to study towards certain international qualifications. This could see you moving up the ladder and into a higher role. 5. Workday start/end time - This one is subjective. Depending on the office and department you work in, you could either work your typical 8-5 or a more unorthodox 10-7. I say it's subjective because this can either be a pro or a con depending on your lifestyle but you are informed of your work hours in the interview.

1. No 13th cheque - In December, you will not receive double salary but you could receive a bonus. I'm only placing this under the Cons section because I got used to receiving a double salary in December at my previous workplaces. 2. No medical aid and no pension - Just as the title says. Very disappointing but it is what it is.

- The company and management really encourage accountability and taking ownership of the work you produce. If you're willing to put in the work and learn about the company and its products, you really will go far in the company. - There are many growth opportunities, as well as opportunities to upskill and learn (including taking accredited courses). - The bonus structures and salary incentives are very good. But again, these are directly tied to your level of commitmment and work within the company. - They are very understanding of personal obligations, and are willing to work with you to ensure that you are able to tend to your family needs when needed.

If you are not going to work hard, you won't get very far. If your goal is to come in and do the bare minimum, you will unfortunately get pigeonholed into your role and reap minimum rewards.
