Due to in fighting, no communication between management, leading to misinformation given to production workers, resulting in botched products. On average any project is executed at least three times before shipping. Constant cover ups and quick fixs are practiced leaving the customer with a distorted/damaged and subpar product. Allen Signs is the sole provider of Hannaford signage and has been informed that they will be losing the contract if significant changes in quality, delivering products on time and communication is not improved. The pay is below average for the industry. They operate on a points system, you accrue points for things such as tardiness, absences, being 1 minute later for lunch, failure to punch. Over all a fairly reasonable system you would think? Not in the least, everyone employed at allen has been subject to accrued points that are impossible to dispute, failure to punch, 1 minute late from lunch. 8 points results in "termination" and same day "rehiring". The goal is to strip long standing employees of any vacation exceeding the one week earned after 12 months. You also lose paid holidays, benefits and overtime for 3 months.
