I did not pass my first interview, and they sent me a packet with a study guide and let me interview again. Once on the job, the MASSIVE amount of internal documentation can 100% be used to fake til you make it. It was not easy, but the next job the experience gets you WILL be better, hard to get worse to be honest. Provided me a huge opportunity in the way of getting into tech/remote work, though this was entirely on my ability to learn really fast and work at the same time.

Shifts are grueling. 45 chats in queue and thousands of email tickets at a time, downtime is not a thing. Only working in a high volume restaurant have I had nightmares about work, until this. You will routinely put in for a break, only to wait 90 mins or more, and if you are on a chat or call, you are not getting a break. KPI was contacts per hour. You will need to work email tickets while on two chats at a time at least in order to reach any bonus tier. As far as I know, they have not figured out how to do two calls at once. Your supervisor will have no idea how to help with anything in your job. You are not getting a promotion. You are not getting a raise. Your supe is not going to give you a one on one, though you will get emails about what you 'spoke' about weekly. At the end of the year, your supe will explain how you are doing very well, but the raise is based on performance, so 60 cents it is. Internal interviews for promotions are based on something, but it is not the interview. I interviewed three times for APS, two interviews HAD THE CHILDREN of the interviewer in the video call, and they were NOT paying attention. I received a link for codecademy to brush up on ____ something, though what was mentioned we spoke of in the interview and I worked with daily. They were, however, breaking up some sort of disagreement between the children in the view of the screen during my answer, so there's that. Supes are either really trying (and burrrrned all the way out) or they are pretty absent aside from disciplinary actions. VERY often, when your shift is mandatorily changed, or some big issue with the schedules/teams is happening, (or every review here) they will mention this "OPS" team. Not one time in my near 3 years there did I ever meet or hear the name of anyone on this team. It was an open joke that it was "ops". Whos Ops? No one knew. They can and will fire you on the spot. Your fellow agents will rat on any mistakes they see. Your escalation points will speak down to you. You will probably see your supervisor cry at least once in team meetings. Good luck.

Supervisors are trained to assist with contacts or help route them when needed to ensure team members receive their scheduled breaks. Regarding opportunities for growth and compensation, we review position compensation bands annually and administer increases related to performance. We also offer various additional benefits and compensation like Profit Sharing to create a total compensation package. For professional development, we have programs like Walk-a-Day, Career Coaching, and reimbursement for courses and certifications to help team members grow their skill sets and advance their careers. Our internal application process is designed to provide a fair evaluation, and leaders work with HR to provide constructive feedback to help team members prepare for future opportunities. We value team cohesion and communication and continuously strive to ensure these efforts are optimized. Our leaders receive ongoing training and development on topics such as performance management, interviewing, and effective support and development for their teams. We also have multiple avenues for feedback, including stay interviews, confidential surveys, and an employee suggestion program, all of which are reviewed by leadership to identify areas for improvement. We encourage team members to connect and build relationships across the company. Everyone can be found through the company directory, and opportunities to engage with colleagues include virtual water cooler activities, game tournaments, and other company-sponsored events that are open to all team members. We’re glad to hear that you valued the remote work flexibility and the work/life balance we strive to provide for our team members. When we introduce major changes or launch new products or tools, we aim to provide training a couple weeks in advance so everyone has time to review and complete it. These trainings are required to help ensure consistency and a strong understanding across teams. In addition, our Products team shares reference materials through internal communication channels, containing key product information. For some products, we also have AMA-style Slack channels where team members can ask questions directly to the teams behind the product, and supervisors remain available for any additional support or follow-up questions.
