Salary payments are delayed near every month. They don’t file TDS for the entire year and then make employees wait for months well after the last date of filing. If you are a favourite of the CTM, you’ll get the best of the deal. Otherwise, keep your head down and focus more on optics than work. Don’t expect much in terms of work. They spent most part of an election year appeasing a coterie of politicians and for that make you work long hours with no clear direction and guidance.
