There's simply no salvaging our India business. Headquarters completely ignored the disastrous decisions made by management here. A market with such incredible potential was utterly destroyed by constant internal power struggles. Every effort was focused solely on cooking up a rosy quarterly survival plan to sell to HQ, all at the expense of company funds and employee compensation. And like clockwork, they'd repeat the cycle every quarter. They deliberately undermined client relationships just to play their political games. The folks who were actually building the business were shown the door, while favorites were kept on, no matter the cost to revenue and our clients. There's been zero accountability for the failure in what should have been a fantastic market and a thriving business. By the time you read this, India's top management will have undoubtedly concocted their next "quarterly survival plan," complete with the usual litany of excuses: "economic slowdown," "industry headwinds," "pricing pressure," "local competition," "talent poaching," "TRAI regulations," "SMS shifting to RCS," "people betrayed," "restructuring," "Russia-Ukraine war," "Monsoon," "Drought," "Earthquake," and on and on. They'll never admit their own leadership incompetence, and HQ, as always, will fall for it. Infobip India is a prime example of squandering investor money without holding leadership accountable or asking the tough questions of those responsible for these catastrophic business decisions. They have absolutely no clue about the on-the-ground realities – and HQ will never be allowed to know the truth. This company has been bled dry by India's top leadership.
