Pluspunten

An product based and good technological Company.

Minpunten

I have worked in start up based out of Bangalore for 1-year from 2019-2020 and have to quit the job due to my personal reasons just before the Corona virus descended. I took a break in my career for 1 year due to my pregnancy and childbearing. While I was referred by an employee at Infor, I had mentioned the break in all the truth and belief and I was selected as QA Associate, after multiple tough technical rounds followed by HR Round and was working WFH due to Corona effect. The work at Infor was very challenging and explorative. I really loved the work, the encouraging team and felt excited to be a part of Infor. But then one day I got a call from HR Team asking to quickly share your screen and show your previous experience “Relieving Letter” and your “Salary Slips” and your “Offer Letter”. I felt very offensive and breach of my privacy but in order to prove that I am correct I showed them all while HR team members are watching my shared screen while surfing through my personal mail. It is so disgusting that someone is watching your personal mailbox, I was wondering where such people come from and spoiling the reputation of a great company. After a couple of days, I was called by HR Associate to come to office on demand immediately with a tone which is not acceptable. I was grieving due to my beloved grandmother passing away couple of days ago and I was performing the rituals. I mentioned about the loss and requested time to complete the rituals and then visit Hyderabad Office. I was stunned by the HR saying, “You must be present if we ask you to be present. I am not requesting you to come, I am ordering you to be present here” and was shunned out of my situations. That day I felt there exists a monarchial attitude in this Company’s HR Team which is not expected in an MNC and decided to leave the company. After I visited Hyderabad Office and a wait for long hours in the lobby with my 1-year baby, finally I was asked to sign the termination letter stating Back Ground Verification was negative. I was not given a chance to give explanation and was forced to sign. I happily signed the document as it is not the right place for me to grow or excel in this hard written, freedom less, non-employee friendly environment and people having ignorant as well as arrogant attitude in HR Team. And I hope it would not happen to another individual, as I enjoyed the work challenge at Infor and technical experts all over the company. This will be a dark spot in my career not due to my ability or the company but due to an incompetent HR which brought immense anguish.

Pluspunten

I like working at Infor. I’ve been here for roughly five years. I enjoy the work, believe in the product, and genuinely like the people I work with and for.

Minpunten

There has recently been a very strong “AI-first” push across the company. To be clear, I understand the value. AI absolutely can streamline operations and free people up to focus on higher-value work. Used correctly, it’s useful. The problem is that there does not appear to be a clear or consistently enforced policy around what constitutes appropriate use versus misuse or outright abuse. There should be better guidance around where AI helps productivity, where it introduces risk (especially around company information being entered into public tools), and where the line is between use and replacement of basic job responsibilities. For example, I recently had a coworker explain that they created AI automation to read and manage their emails so they rarely have to review or respond themselves, while acknowledging things are likely missed. The same person records meetings for transcripts, leaves their laptop during the call, then relies on AI afterward to summarize what happened. At a certain point, it raises a legitimate question: are we using AI to improve productivity, or are we using it to avoid participating in the job altogether? Right now, reactions internally seem split. Some employees view this as a serious abuse of the technology, while others appear fully on board with it. That disconnect alone suggests the company needs clearer expectations and policy guidance. AI should support human judgment and critical thinking. Not eliminate the need for employees to engage in their work entirely. And how does the company determine when that is being done?
