      Minpunten

      People scream at you all day. Even the people who are high up on the chain and one would expect professionalism out of. Minimal support from management, terrible communication. Good luck if you're trans, because you'll likely get deadnamed by the company and misgendered frequently. And they do not operate in states with shield laws--you're basically limited to living in the deep south and other states actively persecuting the community. Managers play favorites.

      Other than remote work, this company has no redeeming qualities.

      Pay is extremely low. Like basically minimum wage. Overtime for hourly employees is strictly monitored and restricted. New CTO is out of touch with reality and will likely move all support and development offshore (if this hasn’t happened already). Management promises salary review and raises but then lays off entires teams afterwards. Engineering is literally one megalomaniacal software engineer who “knows everything” and thinks everyone else is below average intelligence. Mentorship program and culture committee are performative at best and basically useless.
