Pluspunten
Informatica France is a decent company. The office building is good, the location is right outside the subway and close to many of the main customers in la Défense. The employees are on average very smart and respectful. The technical teams are quite impressive, and many employees are very senior at Informatica (5, 10 or even 20 years in the company): they know what they are doing. Management in general are nice, non-aggressive people. Informatica is the leader in the market of Data Management, and this is not going to change in the near future. Working at Informatica is working in a good place.
Minpunten
Some of the people that have been there for years have been in their comfort zone for way too long, with its consequences. As it usually happens in many places, some lazy employees are clearly overpaid, and this has led to some efficient and valuable people to leave, people that were obviously underpaid and unrewarded compared to others. Some find management weak (but complain when somebody more aggressive gets hired). If you have an HR issue you will be on your own. Some employees should learn to be more welcoming towards new hires.
