Pluspunten
This is a company that celebrates and rewards creativity. Before I heard about Inkitt, I didn't know a job like this (script writer) existed. It seems too good to be true -- a full time job, benefits -- to write fiction... but it's real. There isn't COMPLETE creative freedom, of course. We're adapting content, but the creative team has control of what we put onto the app. The community is perhaps the greatest part of my job. I work closely with other writers and sound designers. My supervisors have helped me grow significantly as a writer. Much of the international team is young and creative. The social environment at Inkitt is open and welcoming, and there are lots of opportunities to spend time together with office parties, team lunches, etc.
Minpunten
Part of the down side to being such a young, fast-growing company is that Inkitt is just now creating important systems for hiring, employee reviews, and more. As a result, employees have come and gone fairly quickly in my time at Inkitt. To succeed here, in my opinion, one must embrace change and be willing to strategize outside of one's designated job description. You have to kill your darlings at times -- goals and projects can shift quickly.
