Minpunten

There are 3 main reasons why I left and why I would not recommend working here. 1) They work on an outdated system that was created for retailer support; currently the bulk of the business is on the manufacturer side and "work arounds" have to be used to meet deadlines and offer solutions. Most of these are temp. fixes and do not fix the root problem. The Sales team pitches solutions to prospective customers making promises that are un-realistic due to system limitations and when the need is not met, the analysts get negative feedback. ALL billing and reports are manual in excel and no process is automated. When one analyst has too much on their plate, accounts are handed off to someone else, until they become over whelmed and then so on and so forth. 2) Management and Training. Most managers within the Inmar Fort Worth location have a background of managing warehouse hourly workers. Salary employees are expected to work 8pm to 5pm with no option to come in 7 pm to 4 pm or 730 pm to 430 pm. and lunches are timed as well. Salary workers are also expected to be able to be "on-call" whenever needed. Which made no sense to me, if we have to have a set schedule, and expected to be on call as well, then it would be better to be an hourly employee. The one training session that was offered in my one year there, management forgot to turn in my name to get trained in six sigma. Also, day to day training functions are handled by your peers on a need to know basis. 3) Culture. The one function we had in my one year there happened to be on the day that the VP was in town visiting. There is no team building, team outings, group lunch with your manager. Being that it is located in a warehouse, there are no windows and creates a very somber dark mood throughout the building.

While change is necessary, it can occasionally create uncertainty about direction, roles, or processes. 2. Processes and operating models are still maturing Some functions are still evolving their frameworks, which can lead to fragmentation or inconsistent practices across teams or regions. This is a natural stage for organizations scaling globally but requires disciplined alignment. 3. Communication across the organization can be strengthened In a growing organization, information sometimes travels unevenly across teams or levels of leadership. Improving communication clarity can help employees better understand priorities and decisions. 4. Career pathways can be clearer for employees Many employees are eager to grow within the company. Continued focus on career development and visibility into advancement paths would strengthen retention and engagement.
