Pluspunten

- You will learn A LOT - Really strong training program that will teach you a lot about sales overall, in a very digestible format. This is great for new grads because the training kind of mimics a school rubric with a good flowing progression. You will also learn very quickly what you like and don't like in a job, which includes working with children and the blind leading the blind, everyone dating/sleeping with each other, toxic environment, false hopes and false promises, etc. - You will make friends because everyone is young and in your same demographic. - Fun work trips, incentives, and trips with your team. Ultimately I learned a lot here. I learned my body's capacity for stress is way higher than I thought, so much so that since I stopped working here I have never actually felt stressed, because I know how bad it can actually be, which really set me up for success in my jobs since. I learned how to fake it until you make it, again, helping me in my roles after Insight when I was uncertain or nervous. I learned some really valuable sales tools and techniques that I have taken with me in my career making me more successful when starting a new role.

Minpunten

I have not worked here for over a year, so this is not written out of anger in the heat of the moment. This is purely honest for all the new grads or prospective recruits getting harassed on LinkedIn who came to checkout the ratings. So where do I even begin... 1. EVERYONE regardless of your experience, MUST start in the entry level recruiter role (unless you are a family member of a high level exec or married to someone in a high level position), which means upon starting, there is no room for negotiation. You can't negotiate the terms of your contract at all. 2. Working hours are 7:30am start to 5pm/6pm finish at the earliest, which is insane for not being in an industry such as wealth management or law or something, and those are hours are on a good day, it is sometimes later and optional weekends. You would think you would be fairly compensated but you would be wrong. The pay is basically minimum wage dependent on your region, your commission does not kick in until after your 9-12 months of training and hitting the minimum earning requirements before you can pocket any cash. 3. The negative reviews on here are all true - especially while referencing the fake positive reviews. To clarify that, they aren't fake per say, but offices are "strongly encouraged" to go write good reviews and give good ratings and most of them will do it but don't really care to give an honest review. 4. A great resource is the unlimited internal mental health counselling...but why would a company NEED to have that? Because our normal expenses for mental health don't event BEGIN to cover the costs of what it actually takes to process the trauma from working here. To this day I can't hear the MS Teams call sound without almost having an anxiety attack. 5. You will instantly have 100 new best friends...That will instantly ex-communicate you when you leave. I have 1 friend remaining out of the 80+ I made while working there (aside from the others that also don't work there anymore). When someone leaves or is laid off, employees are discouraged from maintaining relationships with them and told they just "couldn't cut it" or will completely destroy your professional reputation. 6. Will encourage you to have a work-life balance, but then hates when you have a work-life balance. If you have other friends, hobbies, or interests outside of going to happy hour 4 times a week and going out with work friends on the weekends, you are deemed to be "not a culture fit" or not drinking the Kool-Aid. It is very culty. Some offices only hire sorority girls or frat bros. 7. If you aren't conventionally attractive, don't even bother. 8. Poor leadership - only promoted to leadership if you are a favorite or nepotism, it's the blind leading the blind. 9. If they want to get rid of you they will make your life a living hell until you leave so they can continue to keep up the ruse that they "don't fire people", or they will eventually cave and let you go and basically say "its not you its me" but in business lingo. 10. The genuine trauma and trust issues you have when you leave. I should probably bill them for the hours of therapy it took to rebuild my self-worth and learning how to trust people again when they say they have your back and that they'll take care of you personally and professionally. 11. Everything else. If you come in bright eyed and bushy tailed, prepared to leave haggard as hell with years off your life and a few grey hairs.

Minpunten

- work 7:45-5pm every day and will be questioned if you leave early - "hybrid" is onsite mon-fri with no flexibility - management is absolutely insane in every way - zero diversity, only hire blonde women in their 20s - base salary is laughable and you will be making that for at least a year if not more - management will play favorites and that has a direct impact your paycheck - constant work drama - no rewards for hard workers - benefits are a JOKE - 401k match is $250/year, health insurance is terrible, and zero perks of the job
