Insight Global simply put is not a real company. Everyone in leadership has only ever worked at one place... Insight Global. There is no real strategy around what kind of work you are doing. They will sell you on this being a "sales role" in the interview but the account manager role at IG is just a glorified recruiter. They put every possible roadblock in front of you to delay you making real money. The base salary to begin with is borderline poverty level money, it takes a year to get "promoted", and then once you are you have to make a certain amount in "spread" BEFORE you can make any commission.... it's truly hilarious! I have since worked for an incredible sales organization for almost 3 years now since leaving IG and I DREAM of running into Bert Bean so I can tell him how he's running a fake company.
