Minpunten
Poor middle and upper management. If you are smart and use your brains then you are a threat. They only want data processors to work in what can be referred to as a "sweatshop". Everyone here who has mentioned favouritism, lack of management direction, lack of knowledge...it is all 100% true. Middle management is only interested in their own career advancement. 70% of the middle management are from the trainee program, needless to say they have no technical or people management skills. No work life balance, the amount of workload and micromanagement of it actually deters one from doing their job. No trust in their employees and management blames employees for the wrong decisions they take. Morale does not exist and no one cares about the employees. If you are willing to be a doormat then you will move up, if you try to tell the truth you will be ostrasized and your career will end at your desk.
