Intertek has an amazing group of people truly focused on success. I've been with the company (through acquisitions) for close to 20 years and have seen a lot of changes and can happily say that I'm proud to work with Intertek and feel that they are proud to have me.

Minpunten

Can be a bit bureaucratic at times (HR, IT, Finance, etc), but as with anything, as long as you fully understand the requirements - if you work within the framework the bureaucracy lessens.

Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
