Hard to really pin anything down that I would consider a pro. Relatively high prices for taxes done reasonably well but very poor communication and long delays in filing due to the lack of employees and high turnover resulting from the bosses terrible treatment of others and abusive work environment (just what I gleaned from research on job reviews on glassdoor). In terms of communication, you get the distinct impression that any question you have is a huge annoyance to him and you aren’t important unless you are a corporate client or someone who he could invoice for a hefty amount. Just considering the snippy attitude you sometimes get faced with, the way I have seen him treat employees (as well as all the terrible but similar reviews online) and the dwindling number of staff I would suggest if you are looking for an accountant and specifically a can/ us tax specialist avoid this terribly troubled individual. (This is my own opinion but…) He’s obviously divorced and not happy that his business (which is all he has left apart from sports) is such a failure at this point in his life that he has decided to take it out on everyone around him… short solution: don’t be around him if you don’t have to be!
