Minpunten
Management/ownership would complain about lack of staff, blame it on anyone else in the office, then leave for a week long vacation with no real direction to go off of. Another member of management was working 12 hour days with a serious back injury, trying to cover for vacant janitorial positions due to ownership's refusal to find an adequate temporary replacement or simply delegate his tasks properly. I had my paycheck altered several times, unbeknownst to me until further examination, due to a clerical error on my part. I fully believe they intended to continue this without my knowledge or consent until I confronted them about the pay discrepancies. The primary owner/supervisor had me work as a general contractor for his real estate business as well as work in the office. This would've been alright if he'd expressed the pay structure upon my hiring. Unfortunately, he didn't and I ended up having to file taxes with two employers instead of Janitron alone. Upon my resigning from my position, I was harassed for a day by the primary owner, asking questions and denial of any wrongdoing.
I'd use the word aloof to describe management at Janitron, but I believe that's giving their consciences too much of the benefit of a doubt. Ownership's lack of awareness and concern in regards to employee productivity, happiness, or well-being was concerning and I am glad to be with another far more agreeable, lucrative, and overall better company now and I have no intention of ever setting foot in that office again.
