Once you've been there for a few years, it seemed pretty easy to just sit back and have an easy life, providing you don't rub up certain people the wrong way. Of course, everyone pretends like they're super busy all of the time, but that's usually down to the company's own incompetence, not the actual workload.
Minpunten
Very cliquey and nepotistic. Bad atmosphere. I've genuinely never worked somewhere with such a bad vibe. I think this comes from one or two people who seem to think undermining and badmouthing people is a sign of being a good manager. Based on the company's employee churn rate, I think it's pretty clear that's not the case. People tread carefully to ensure they don't annoy certain people with family links to management, no matter how toxic they are within the business. Line managers are overruled by people they're supposed to be managing. People are in roles based on family ties, not actual ability. The place has a really unprofessional feel. You get the feeling a lot of people are pretending they know what they're doing when they clearly don't.
