Pluspunten
There are no longer pros to working at Key Travel. Anything good has been stripped away by senior management.
Minpunten
Key Travel has an incredibly toxic environment with little work / life balance. Almost all longer term employees and senior management, who once made the company a good place to work, have either been laid off or left voluntarily because they couldn’t take the culture anymore. No work / life balance: expect massive amounts of work (and needing to respond regularly outside of business hours), with no ability to add resources or additional staff to your team. Lots of projects, including a multitude of system changes, means there is no stability. Everything is chaos. They will call this “growth” but it’s making every employee miserable as there’s no end to the changes and extreme workloads. Low pay - everyone is significantly under paid for the industry and expertise. Inaccurate tax payment - Key Travel has never gotten it right. Expect to owe money to various state and local tax agencies because the deductions from your paycheck will be inaccurate or completely missing. You need to be your own advocate to have this corrected. Get familiar with your tax laws. Mediocre benefits - be prepared to spend a lot of money or avoid the doctor and hope for the best. Not ideal when this company negatively affects your mental health. Senior management - the president for North America is incredibly phony and not to be trusted. The global CEO is the same. No clear communication from either and a lot of shady business practices. Other - they have stripped the holiday part down to nothing from what was previously a highly anticipated event that gave the office lots of joy. Lots of offices have been closed, people are being laid off, and no one is being replaced. Seems like a real down turn financially.
