Pluspunten

Less than 10 % of employees are overworked (i.e more than 8 hrs/day to accomplish daily tasks). Customer service is the one area where employees put in long hours (>8) per day to accomplish their daily tasks. This is very little travel for employees unless they are part of the next SAP implentation or part of senior management.

Minpunten

Wage freezes for 2009 and personnel reductions continuing since 2008. Sales are down and planned production outages are scheduled to compensate during the economic downturn. More and more responsibilites are being moved to the German parent which further reduces security oan moral of US based employees.

This company is blacklisted by most other chemical plants in that cluster. Horrible management they have no experience outside of good ole boy system Operators are not team oriented and the union is not worth being in/ have not saved one employee ever. Corporate sticks besides management regardless of any wrongdoing
