Pluspunten

The pay is decent. You get the chance to grow as an interpreter because you are constantly learning new terminology but every single phone call pushes you to continue to grow. The systems they make you use are easy to use and don’t give technical issues.

Minpunten

No direct person to talk to like a manager. If you have an emergency situation come up, they want you to submit a request but they never approve it. They want you to help yourself by going to the libraries of glossaries and I believe they should give a direct line or contact to a supervisor or manager because if you’re new you’re trying your best to get better but it’s hard to do so when you have to do things by yourself.

Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

Minpunten

Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
