Follow your schedule and you'll enjoy the benefits of remote interpretation. Very good with assistance for interpreters when we need it.
Minpunten
Everything is system based, so you need to request how many vacation hours you have available via system or you'll be stuck using your UTO always.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy to hear that you’ve found remote interpretation rewarding and that the support resources have been helpful when needed. Your feedback about the scheduling system and access to vacation hours is valuable, and we’ll continue working to make these processes more transparent and user-friendly. We appreciate your input on learning resources. While training videos are one option, we recognize that interpreters benefit from a variety of tools and more direct access to supervisors for guidance and growth. We’re always exploring ways to enhance professional development and communication. If you have specific suggestions email interpretercommunications@languageline.com.
Just have to get used to/be ready for same day job assignments.

Thank you for your 5-star review and for the more than one year you have been part of our team in Monterey. We are glad to hear that you feel supported by a well-organized company, as we strive to provide a structured and professional environment for our interpreters. We also appreciate your perspective on same-day assignments; flexibility is often part of the meaningful work we do to support clients when they need language access most. Thank you for the important role you play in delivering quality interpretation services.
Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week.
Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference?
Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
