I started working for the company back in August 2019 and got hired for the job role of an SEO Link builder. What I didn't realize is how much there is to learn. I've been given the room to grow and got an offer to also work on the on-page SEO. It was the first time I actually began to grasp just how vast SEO is and everything that can be done with it.
The client is not simple, it's complex, but it's fun and an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and become part of something that actually saves lives. Yes, that's right. The company has a client from the medical domain. That was the other aspect that I was drawn into. I told myself that this type of job has another upside. In your own way, by building the client's online presence, you will actually help someone get better or even save a life.
The company culture is great. You get to cooperate with other colleagues. The whole project is digital marketing, all domains are pieces of the puzzle and you get a front row seat to every aspect. Any role you take, you get to learn it, but also get to learn other roles on the go, which makes it a tremendous experience. And the management are not your average CEOs. They actually sit with the team and work very hard to achieve the results. Most CEOs tend to give orders, sit back, and expect results. The first time I saw that, it was very inspiring. You don't see that many executives willing to work hard and actually join hands with employees, work on the common goal, teach, but also allow themselves to be challenged if you have a better idea. That was the message the CEO gave me on my first day. To this day, I remember a couple of pointers he gave me and I carry them with me. And the people I've worked with were the best I've seen and I am not exaggerating. It may sound like a cliché, but it's true. The people I worked with were great at what they do, but also great people as individuals. It was probably the only company where I felt zero toxicity in the house. Everyone had great attitude and there was never any drama. I'd recommend applying to anyone who is looking to learn, but also to challenge themselves.
