Minpunten

When hired you will be promised one thing and once you're out of training whatever you were promised when accepting the job offer becomes a thing of the past and is not honored. Second, they make you feel as if you are one of the elite. Being accepted into the company which is a fortune 100 company. Once you see your peers you realize you've not taken a corporate sales position but rather, a run of the muck call center position. Finally, forget everything you've learned about sales as this is a transaction and not a sales environment.

We set high expectations for our employees, but we always aim to back up those expectations with training, communication, and manager support. It sounds like you don't feel you received that communication. We'd encourage you to speak with your manager about your questions and concerns so we can work with you to make improvements. Minpunten

With so many opportunities, committees, and ERGs to get involved in, it's easy to take on too much. Being intentional about where you focus your time is key to protecting that great work-life balance. It's a large enterprise, so it can take time to learn how to navigate all the resources and pathways available. More centralized visibility into open STAs and mobility opportunities would make them even easier to pursue.
