Pluspunten

Not very many pros. New hires in 2020/2021 job listings were advertised and contracted as salaried, full-time, WFH remote employees. During 2022 a return to office mandate was enforced for all employees throughout the company. Pay is mediocre for the position of Auto Adjuster II ranging from 40-50k a year, but you will be exchanging not only 40 hours a week for that pay, but your entire life including off days. Constantly pressured ("highly encouraged") to come in to the office, meet up at restaurants with management and co-workers on Friday evenings.

Minpunten

If you work hard, meet all your KPI's, manage your claims promptly and stay on top of everything, you will be rewarded with bonuses and decent pay. What you will not have, is a work life balance. The harder you work the more the system punishes you and drowns you in more work. Most of the team doesn't meet KPI's, quite far below it. They hold there jobs while doing half the work you do as a top performer, while your manager makes you feel like you aren't doing enough even if you're at the top of your team.

Minpunten

Started my career at Liberty Mutual as a Workers' Compensation intern. In the beginning, everything was going well. The workload was demanding, but I genuinely enjoyed the job and the work I was doing. One year later, I got promoted to claim adjuster. Things changed after my manager was seriously injured in a car accident. The department director took over managing our team, and the work environment became completely different. She was extremely rude and practiced excessive micromanagement. She expected me not to take any PTO if my work wasn't completely finished, even when I needed time off because my grandmother had suddenly passed away. The constant pressure and lack of empathy took a serious toll on my mental health. I developed depression during that time and eventually had to seek help from a psychologist. In the end, I decided to leave Liberty Mutual. It was one of the best decisions I made for my well-being, and I would not consider returning to the company.
