The LifeCity team is very welcoming and was there to support me in any way they could. They have a four-day work week (Mon-Thurs) and work hybrid, going into the office two days a week. I gained access to a huge network of companies and organizations leading in sustainability and equity across the city and spoke with many of them one-on-one. The team genuinely wanted to hear my thoughts and feedback on the Love Your City platform during the internship.

I didn't get the chance to do much work on the consulting side (as outlined in the job description) because it didn't fit into my class schedule, so I mostly worked on the Love Your City side.
