Minpunten

I worked at LifePlus Bangladesh, a sister concern associated with L@b@id C@ncer Hospital, for around two months and unfortunately did not receive any salary during my employment. The work culture felt highly toxic and exploitative. Employees were regularly pressured to meet unrealistic deadlines and often expected to work late nights beyond office hours without compensation or appreciation. The salary issue was not limited to my experience alone. Multiple employees and even entire departments reportedly had pending salaries for 3–4 months. Despite this, management continued operations as if delayed or unpaid salaries were normal. The HR department was extremely unprofessional in handling employee concerns. Repeated promises were made regarding salary payments, but deadlines consistently passed without action. Communication lacked transparency, and management frequently became unavailable when employees attempted to follow up. One of the most frustrating experiences occurred before Eid, when employees with unpaid salaries were asked to wait for hours at the Labaid Cancer Hospital office over multiple days, only to receive further delays and vague assurances instead of actual payment. The management structure also appeared heavily affected by internal politics, favoritism, and poor accountability. Even senior executives seemed to have limited authority in decision-making. Another concern is that the organization appears to heavily rely on the “Labaid” brand name during recruitment. Interviews are often conducted at Labaid Cancer Hospital, which gives candidates the impression they are joining a stable and reputable organization. However, employees may later be placed into sister concerns such as V!rtuC@re, L!fe+BD, L@b@idAI, or In5ureTech, where salary delays reportedly occur frequently. From my experience, the cycle appears to be: Hire employees using the Labaid brand reputation Delay salaries for months Continue giving false assurances Employees eventually resign without receiving full payment Recruit new employees and repeat the process I strongly encourage candidates to research thoroughly before accepting any offer and not rely solely on the Labaid brand name.
