Minpunten
A bottom-tier vendor in a stressful and demanding industry and that status isn't likely to change. It's always a sad sign when the negative reviews here get overwhelmed by the fake, "positive" ones. Org has a blame culture though LHE has worked very hard to "rebrand" itself into this hipster, techie, laid back environ. Promotion is based on popularity/looks and seniority not skills or experience. So there's no good, sustainable management. Instead there's a lot of micromanaging where every move, email, direction, discussion with the client/other teams is subject to criticism/scrutiny. No clear resource manuals that directs people on how to perform well. The constant, petty critiques, which can occur behind closed doors or in front of everyone at your cubicle, aren't helpful but demoralizing. This in turn creates a culture of FEAR, which leads to colleagues ratting each other before management, holding onto emails and chats as "proof" or wrongdoing. This is a daily occurrence. No work-life balance. By the time I've left, key senior people have left b/c of poor management. That, along with overwhelming hours, means that the turnover rate is HIGH. They have a hard time filling in those slots b/c of low pay and few benefits (no matching 401K, costly health care, low pay). What's infuriating is the provincial atmosphere: they think they're hot stuff. Being a small shop, there's no room for advancement.
