Working from home was a big plus. You do have to fly in to their Texas location once in a while and even to their client locations sometimes which is not that big of a problem.
Minpunten
I'll list out some points: 1. Worst work culture - You can't ask any questions to your boss/peers and you are criticized for presenting any of your ideas. 2. No growth - If you are thinking to learn and grow, this is not the right place to be. Your questions won't be answered at all and you'll just end up maintaining spreadsheets like everyone else. 3. No open communication - It will be nice to have some form of open communication in a way that the person can learn. Forget about questions, they just expect you to magically know everything - even the answer of life! They don't spend any resources or time to get you a proper onboarding. Learn everything in 2 days. 4. Management is always playing politics - The senior management is always playing games and if you are really chummy chummy with them, maybe it'll be easier for you to work there but if you are here to get work done on your own - good luck. 5. No PTO's - Thinking about taking off to visit the doctor? Guess what - take your laptop to the doctor's and work from there while having the doctor examine you. 6. Outdated technology - They'll try to woo you that they are working with Machine Learning and Data Science when that is just a sell to get you onboard. They even say this to the client but I haven't seen anything implemented in 2 years. 7. Forget about personal life - you'll be working 80 hours a week with no bonus. There is no work/life balance. It is just so much stress to deal with.
