You cannot trust absolutely no one related to management because over there everyone is too busy trying to keep their own job in order to not get fired. It is like working under a dictatorship. Be open to never be or feel accomplished no matter if you do. No one will pad your back. Meaning don't expect a "good job" expression. Very discouraging work environment.
