      If you've been or are tired and uninspired professionally, MagicSchool is truly a breath of fresh air. You'll get to work with high IQ AND high EQ individuals. The company is very purpose driven and set up for success with the recent funding. There are lots of opportunities for any professional to grow at this company, and you'll have a good time growing together. What more could you ask for?

      Like all hypergrowth companies, MagicSchool has lots of growing pains and it may not be for everyone who isn't comfortable navigating ambiguity.

      Decent pay, solid group of employees with a high percentage coming directly from K12.

      Minpunten

      Lack of systems and when one is built little enablement. Goals and work load change nearly weekly if not daily. Since many come from K12 there is a more comfort with using brute force and accepting the current pay/equity, rather than developing systems or paying employees closer to the valuation of the company. Though they are early stage, there is little opportunity for cross team collaboration and the org is pretty hierarchical.
