Company pay scale is below median average, PTO sucks. The max you get each year the first 5-6 years is 2 weeks per year, that is total sick time and vacation. They act like they are doing you a favor with weather related OT as it is an opportunity to make money. In a busy winter you still can't make up for being underpaid.. there is no make up for that... $10k - $15k under pay per year, work 20 hrs of OT a week, drive in snowstorms around the clock because you are on call. That's their logic, we pay cheap but you can make that back in OT like you should work 60 hours for your 40 hour check. They deduct holiday hours from your weekly total that you have make up before you make OT. and if you get called in on a holiday that is still straight time pay. They only give you 5 company shirts, but you work 10-14 days straight a couple times in winter. crap raises. The ball bounces their way every time
