Pluspunten
If you’re looking for a company where you’ll never run out of forms to fill or approvals to chase, MAPFRE is perfect. Bureaucracy is a full-time job here.
Minpunten
Working at MAPFRE was a constant struggle, not because of the technical challenges, but because of the internal environment. Bureaucracy is overwhelming: before making any progress you are forced to fill out endless forms, go through layers of approval, and face security teams whose main effect is to block rather than enable work. Innovation and efficiency are practically impossible under these conditions. Leadership, instead of supporting teams, often plays politics , They are more focused on power games and appearances than on helping people deliver results. In Spain, very few people speak English and, since the company is Spanish, there is little to no effort made to adapt or communicate in English, which makes integration even harder for international professionals. This creates a dark, discouraging atmosphere where motivation quickly fades. For professionals who value impact, collaboration, and real progress, MAPFRE is unfortunately a very difficult place to thrive.
