Dunning Kruger Effect in place for the leader in charge of revenue department and growth strategy. SaaS growth fundamentals are often overlooked and not valued.
Although there is high IQ, the EQ is significantly low in C-suite. Also, with high IQ comes the necessity to constantly question your assumptions in order to prevent blind spots.
Aversion to risk keeps the company afloat and healthy amidst economic downturns, but by being overly risk averse they might be consequently limiting their upside as well.
Leadership is a bit ageist, at least in my opinion.
