I did take the time to speak to some developers today and they mention something exact opposite. The comments I am told are: 1. Ability to work in multiple technologies. 2. Ownership believes in R&D 3. Ownership believes in automation 4. The company offers 2-3 days a month as training only days 5. Latest gadgets to try to develop on are available in multiple quantities. 6. They do pb, vb, vc, java, python, .net, c#, android, ios, c and work on multiple databases. 7. The hiring criteria are pretty strict so people who do not meet them will end up doing something else in the company.
