Meijer is a great place to get your foot into the retail space. They have a great onboarding process to train you in your job. I would recommend working here only to get experience to then move on to a company who actually cares for you.
Minpunten
The only way to move up is to be friends with leadership. It has nothing to do with skill or devotion to the company. Also, they (leadership) treat you as robots and not as human beings. It’s all about making money for those in leadership positions and it does not trickle down to those who do the grunt work. It’s a good job if you have co-workers who care about you and are invested in you; however, if you are on a team of people who only want to work and go home, you’ll likely be lonely.
