This review is about the Golden Cross Academic Clinic. Patient care provided is above average. Many resources available for the underserved community. Strong Residency program. Nursing staff encouraged to participate in this training. Salaries and benefits commensurate with experience and industry standards in the DFW metroplex. Physical environment very pleasant, well kept and clean.

I was employed in the Methodist System for 19 years. In the final five years I noticed a disturbing trend of “encouraging” older or disabled employees to resign or retire early. This generally took the form of “write ups” on job performances of employees with impressive tenures. These were mostly critiques of performances that had been baseline for years. One couldn’t help but notice that each of these employees were either older or chronically ill. I personally retired eighteen months early as I could no longer witness this unethical behavior.
