Pluspunten
I had some great interactions with nice people while I was there. Many of them have advanced degrees (super duper smart) and are also really kind. A lot of the people I met are very motivated by the company mission to treat cancer, which is obviously a fulfilling thing to wake up and work on every day. People work really hard here.
Minpunten
I have been at several toxic workplaces, and this one may be the worst of all. The company is run inefficiently, financially shaky at best, and straight up abusive to its employees. On multiple occasions, I witnessed high-level people verbally berate others in meetings and/or send nasty emails and messages about things that weren't even issues. C-levels and management are both driven by and rule by fear and intimidation. The expectation is that you are on call 24 hours a day, and even then that is not enough to get promoted or even receive a cost of living raise. Their turnover rate is (unsurprisingly) high. Also: the current CEO is not accurate on this page, and I understand why the company hasn't updated that. Dysfunction comes from the top down.
