The news platform they use to grab news articles is Slack. So inefficient, if you're unlucky or aren't fast enough, several times in a day your story gets killed because editors don't realize two people grabbed the same story twice. Their platform for writing stories look like it's made in the 90s. Very basic. Editors don't have a unified process of editing, so what is right for one editor, will be wrong for one. That means your writing will change depending on who will grab your story for editing. They tolerate disrespectful editors just because they're tenured. The pay isn't equal. At first, you think you're getting a high salary but they pay you according to the country you're from. So, imagine the disparity between US-based reporters versus those in developing countries.
