I guess one pro is no one knows whats happening both business wise and operationally so its easy to be not smart and still function in the org.
Minpunten
Leadership is comprised of has been/ never were individuals operating like a 1980s pants suit in the form of a business. Ancient principles lead to ancient business tactics. These people "let me go" because I wouldn't accept that everything they were doing from a marketing perspective was not only in violation of FCC guidelines and spam act laws but dumb to boot. Literally upended my life for them and some indirect manager that wasn't even my supervisor put a random meeting on my calendar at 4 pm after I spent the day writing a full dissertation on ways to correct the marketing org and be more current in our principles. Almost ruined my professional career. But now I work for the largest tech company on earth making 50K more sooooo don't care at all but figured I would share my experience with people that may also be tricked by it.
