No work life balance, one is usually asked and expected to do work that isn't part of what one was hired for, talking about ownership and high performing. No value for staff feedback , the Co-founders call the shots. Not a creative place to work , as you are not entitled to an opinion, but always have to copy and paste what others are doing- talking about evidence proofing. This usually leads to self doubt, as your ideas are not valid until you have shown that this person from this organisation did it like this and also show that many other people who aren't even experts in the field have reviewed it. The feedback don't come all together, so imagine doing a design and going back and forth to edit numerous times -- something so simple will always become complex.
