No Investment in Employee Development: Efforts to proactively train on necessary tools and skills were dismissed until deadlines were missed and schedules were delayed. I had proposed learning a critical simulation tool weeks ahead of a major project but was told it wasn’t important. When the project inevitably fell behind, another engineer was rushed to learn the same tool under pressure. Alarming Work Practices: Management turns a blind eye to employees working over 90-hour weeks, prioritizing immediate deadlines over employee well-being. This culture of burnout and neglect contributed to an abnormally high turnover rate. In just one year, 90% of my team left the company, a clear sign of systemic issues.
