Pluspunten
The Dublin R&D production team operates as a individual silo to some extent, despite being a small, isolated group. Initially, I had reservations about the arrangement, but my experience with the team was exceptional. Each member is highly experienced, with a notable concentration of principal engineers, making it an unparalleled learning environment. The managers and architects remain hands-on and actively contribute to the codebase, ensuring a deep understanding of the project and setting realistic expectations. I truly miss both the place and, more importantly, the people who made my time there so memorable. This team was a startup acquired a few years ago and it still operates like a start up in many ways. Has some of the best engineers/architects I've ever worked with. If you are a software engineer you will love it.
Minpunten
The team's primary focus is on engineering, so if you're a software engineer who enjoys working on aspects beyond hands-on coding, this may not be the best fit for you. The only reason I left was due to the 3 day per week in office requirement. If you don't mind that it's great.
